Who We Are

How the Jeremiah Puzzle was created

The Jeremiah Puzzle began as a way to help a struggling 14-year-old girl understand her life, see her story clearly and realise she had never been alone.

What started as one father’s idea became a tool that now helps families, couples, youth and counsellors around the world.

A father’s search for a way to help his daughter

The Jeremiah Puzzle began during a difficult season in my daughter Robyn’s life. At fourteen, she was struggling with self-worth, identity, abandonment and bullying. Nothing seemed to help until one night around 2 a.m. when an  idea came to me after praying a desperate prayer to God for help. The idea I was given was so simple yet so powerful that I knew it was God's answer to my prayer.

I imagined life as a puzzle with pieces that were initially blank. The idea was to write key events, decisions, coincidences or people onto the individual pieces and then to put them together in a way that mapped out the course of my daughter's life. The final step was to put a green dot on each puzzle piece that that contained an event which was clearly orchestrated —  God's fingerprints.

I wanted to help her see her story — clearly, visually, truthfully — and understand that her life wasn’t random or forgotten, but meaningful and guided. The green dots scattered over her puzzle showed her that God had been with her all along.

The first version of the puzzle was made for one person

That night, I wrote down every detail of the idea on a notepad beside my bed. The next day, I started looking for the items I needed to make such a puzzle. Once I had completed a rough prototype, Robyn and I began writing the key events of her life onto the blank puzzle pieces and arranging them to show how her story unfolded and where God had been involved.

The puzzle did more than organise memories — it revealed connection, purpose and hope, and it showed her that she had never walked alone.

What started as one girl’s breakthrough grew into something bigger

When I shared the idea with family, friends, pastors, psychologists and counsellors, the response was immediate:

“This can help so many people.”
“This is a powerful tool for reflection and healing.”
“This could transform therapy sessions.”

Families saw a way to preserve their stories. Counsellors saw a way to help people identify patterns, trauma and meaning. it was seen as a valuable tool for memory-care workers, for life coaching and much more. Faith mentors saw a way to show where God had been active in someone’s life.

Created for anyone searching for clarity, meaning or hope

Many people today wonder:
Do I matter?
Why did this happen?
Where was God in all of this?
Why does life feel out of control?
Why do I miss the meaningful coincidences?

The Jeremiah Puzzle was created to answer these questions visually, honestly and gently.

It helps people see:

• that their story has purpose

• that their life is connected, not chaotic

• that even difficult moments are not the end

• that guidance and meaning often appear before we notice them

• that they are not alone on their journey
